Medicine is the keystone of the arch of Socialism.
- Vladimir Lenin
I happen to be a proponent of single payer universal health care plans. . . A single payer health care plan, a universal health care plan. And that's what I'd like to see. But as all of you know, we may not get there immediately. Because first we have to take back the White House, we have to take back the Senate, and we have to take back the House. -Obama
The chronically ill and those toward the end of their lives are accounting for potentially 80 percent of the total health care bill out here….There is going to have to be a very difficult democratic conversation that takes place.

The Founders vs. Democrats
For decades, the left has exploited specific rhetorical and general words in the Constitution by removing such words from the context and the intent in which they were written. And they have done so with regard to our healthcare.
When Asked Where the Constitution Authorizes Congress to Order Americans To Buy Health Insurance, Pelosi Says: 'Are You Serious?' -CNSNews.com
PELOSI (D-CA): But the Constitution gives Congress broad power to regulate activities that have an effect on interstate commerce. Congress has used this authority to regulate many aspects of American life, from labor relations to education to health care to agricultural production. Since virtually every aspect of the heath care system has an effect on interstate commerce, the power of Congress to regulate health care is essentially unlimited.
This is remarkable, not simply for the perverse interpretation of the Constitution - or dare I say lie, but for it’s stunning admission. Nancy Pelosi, the Speaker of the House of the U.S. Congress, has just told you that she along with the rest of Congress has the authority to dictate when, where, how, and if you receive healthcare.
If you do not have the right to make your own decisions regarding the well being of your own person, what rights, at all, can you claim?
Any of you right to privacy – it’s my body – pro-choice types have a problem with this? Of course not. Why would you?
Americans need to understand some simple reasoning: if one’s right to remain secure in his person, property, and effects is compromised, all other rights are compromised.
JAMES MADISON (Author of U.S. Constitution: Yet it is very certain that it [commerce clause] grew out of the abuse of the power by the importing States in taxing the nonimporting, and was intended as a negative and preventive provision against injustice among the States themselves, rather than as a power to be used for the positive purposes of the General Government, in which alone, however, the remedial power could be lodged.
JAMES MADISON: The powers of the federal government are enumerated; it can only operate in certain cases; it has legislative powers on defined and limited objects, beyond which it cannot extend its jurisdiction.
JAMES MADISON (Federalist Papers #45): The powers delegated by the proposed Constitution to the federal government are few and defined.
The word regulate in the Commerce Clause meant to keep uniform or normalized, not obstruct or meddle. The same meaning of the word is used today when one says I’ve been regular lately - pardon the analogy.
The founders did not want the states to tax or impose duties on commerce from other states, as some colonies had been doing. The purpose of the Commerce Clause was not to give Congress authority to meddle in the affairs of commerce, but to protect commerce from state meddling.
Even if we are to except the Pelosi interpretation of regulate, the clause does not state - to regulate activities that have an effect on interstate commerce. It states To regulate commerce, specifically.
According to Pelosi's view - one can make the argument that anything one does has an effect on commerce. And the Left has done just that, which undermines the whole purpose of our Constitution's Article: 1 – Section: 8, which was to limit the power of the Federal Government in implicit and undeniable terms.
LEAHY (D-VT): We have plenty of authority [for Congress to give an individual mandate for health insurance]. Are you saying there is no authority?...Why would you say there is no authority?...I mean, there’s no question there’s authority. Nobody questions that...
Where do we have the authority to set speed limits on an interstate highway?
Vermont must be proud. The carrier Senator wasn’t even correct in saying that the Federal Government sets speed limits, let alone in his claim it has authority to do so.
Even if we took Leahy’s assertion that the federal government has the authority to set speed limits and is currently acting on it, how does this equate to a mandate upon citizens to purchase healthcare insurance?
THOMAS JEFFERSON (Founding Father - Author of Declaration of Independence):
A departure from principle in one instance becomes a precedent for a second, that second for a third, and so on 'til the bulk of society is reduced to mere automatons of misery, to have no sensibilities left but for sinning and suffering...and the forehorse of this frightful team is public debt. Taxation follows that, and in its train wretchedness and oppression.
JAMES MADISON: If Congress can do whatever in their discretion can be done by money, and will promote the General Welfare, the Government is no longer a limited one, possessing enumerated powers, but an indefinite one, subject to particular exceptions.
PATRICK HENRY (Declared 'Give Me Liberty or Give Me Death'): The Constitution is not an instrument for the government to restrain the people, it is an instrument for the people to restrain the government - lest it come to dominate our lives and interests.
JAMES MADISON: I cannot undertake to lay my finger on that article of the Constitution which granted a right to Congress of expending, on objects of benevolence, the money of their constituents.
To be continued...

ObamaCare Promise of No Rationing Broken by FDA
-RedState.com
It is critical to note, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) did not propose denying cancer victims the right to the drug because of the safety of the drug, but because of a formula containing cost as factor...
This kicks the decision until after the fall Congressional elections. It will be much easier for the FDA to make a difficult decision after the election removing pressure from Americans who oppose government rationed care.

AMERICA'S NEW HEALTH CARE SYSTEM REVEALED: UPDATED CHART SHOWS OBAMACARE'S BEWILDERING COMPLEXITY -House.gov
In addition to capturing the massive expansion of government and the overwhelming complexity of new regulations and taxes, the chart portrays:
-$569 billion in higher taxes;
-$529 billion in cuts to Medicare;
swelling of the ranks of Medicaid by 16 million;
-17 major insurance mandates; and
the creation of two new bureaucracies with powers to impose future rationing: the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute and the Independent Payments Advisory Board.
Brady admits committee analysts could not fit the entire health care bill on one chart. 'This portrays only about one-third of the complexity of the final bill. It’s actually worse than this.'

I wonder (not really); WILL THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT BEGIN TO REGULATE ANAL SEX - being that it the Federal Government is in the business of finding ways to unburden our healthcare system by regulating our private lives?
The medical community has been aware of the higher health risks associated with anal sex. Here is a list of anal sex health risks:
Human immunodeficiency virus (HIV): there is no doubt that anal intercourse carries a greater risk of transmission of HIV - the virus that can cause acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS) - than other sexual activities, particularly for the receptive partner.
Hepatitis A (infectious hepatitis): this is a viral infection that can cause jaundice and abdominal pain. Hepatitis A is not usually a life-threatening illness, although sufferers can feel quite ill. It can be transmitted by oral-anal contact.
Hepatitis C: is a cause of progressive and sometimes fatal chronic liver disease. Hepatitis C may be transmitted by anal intercourse, although this seems to be a rare occurrence. Sharing of equipment for intravenous drug use is a far more important risk for transmission.
To be clear - I do not support any level of government meddling in our private lives.
But it is the authoritarian Left (not humanitarian) who decry
