Harry Reid, Republic Enemy # 3, compared the resistance to the Democrat’s pursuit of an authoritarian healthcare system (a resistance which includes the majority of Americans) to those who dug their heals in against the abolition of slavery, against women’s suffrage, and against the Civil Rights Movement. Reid said:

This is indeed historic and I'm not afraid to say it is. Instead of joining us on the right side of history, all Republicans have come up with is this: Slow down, stop everything, let's start over. If you think you've heard these same excuses before, you're right. When this country belatedly recognized the wrongs of slavery, there were those who dug in their heels and said, "Slow down, it's too early, let's wait." When women spoke up for the right to speak up, they wanted to vote. Some insisted they simply slow down. When this body was on the verge of guaranteeing equal civil rights to everyone, regardless the color of their skin, some senators resorted to the same filibuster threats that we hear today.

I have a quote for Senator Reid from Vladimir Lenin, another authoritarian:

Medicine is the keystone of the arch of Socialism.

Reid and the gang know this, which is why the Left has been peddling this historic moment for 80 years.

Reid is actually right about a couple points. There were those who dug in their heels against the abolition of slavery. In English, the correct term for those people is Democrats (mostly southern Democrats).

Like JFK and LBG supported civil rights for Blacks to the extent that public opinion dictated, President Woodrow Wilson (D) was also less than enthusiastic about defending a woman’s right to vote until he gave way to political pressure.

And yes there were those who dug in their heels against our country's 2nd civil rights movement in the late 1950’s through the 1960’s. Once again, those heal diggers were predominantly Democrats.

President Dwight Eisenhower (R) resurrected the civil rights cause for American Blacks in the 1950’s after an 80 year drought, while paving the way for future civil rights successes.

Yet, when was the last time you heard Eisenhower and civil rights uttered in the same breath?

I have yet to see one documentary on the Civil Rights Movement that details Eisenhower’s efforts behind the 1957 Civil Rights Act, or that mentions that John F. Kennedy voted against it as a Senator (D-MA).

At a time when Marxist-Socialist (Progressive) views began to take root amongst northern Democrats, the polls in America began to reflect increasing support for Black equality.

As it has always been necessary for Marxist-Socialist movements to exploit the fears and desires of the so called have nots through class warfair propaganda, northern Democrats saw the shift in American polity, and seized the opportunity to exploit the very word itself while covering up the party’s 180 year effort to keep inequality institutionalized.

In defense of their party, the Left asserts that racist Southerners switched to the Republican Party simply because such Southerners were so put off by the extent of the Democrat Party’s role in the success of the 2nd civil rights movement.

Of course this makes perfect sense; that southern racist Democrats would leave their party that was, to a significant degree, against ALL of the civil rights acts to join a party that was, by in large, committed to ALL of the civil rights acts.

Yet Leftists can’t seem to point to any sudden racist shift in the Republican Party platform that would have seduced such racist southern Democrats. -Go figure

In reality, the shift in southern party affiliation occurred over the course of three decades and was due to numerous factors.

Southerners of the time, aside from their racist hypocrisy, were religious conservatives who could no longer relate to their party the more their party embraced special rights for non-whites, a deepening Socialist agenda, and the abandonment of religious tradition and rights.

Over time, the Republican Party’s race neutral Conservative platform became the preferable option for many Southerners, even for some who may have retained bigoted sentiments.

The bottom line is that the South has left it’s racist past in the past, and is probably one of the least racially pre-occupied regions in the country today.

Next time a Liberal speaks of the contemporary South as a bastion of bigots, ask them a few simple questions:

* Why are more Blacks moving to the South than to any other region?

* Why is it that 55% of America’s Black population now resides in the South?

* Why are their more black elected officials in the South today than in any other region of the country?

By the way, Senator Reid; those filibuster threats were more than threats. They were record long actual filibusters by Sen. Strom Thurmond (D-SC) and Robert Byrd (D-WV).

Robert Byrd (D-WV), former member - Kleagle of the KKK and current Democrat Senator, performed the longest filibuster against the 1964 Civil Rights Act speaking for 14 hours and 13 minutes.

(Can you imagine how much CO2 these two filibusters emitted into our fragile atmosphere? Could it be that Democrat opposition to civil rights was the catalyst for Human Induced Global Warming (HIGW)…I mean Climate Change?

It will truly be a historic day when Harry Reid and the posse acknowledge and apologize for the Democratic Party’s insidious role in American slavery, the repealing of post Civil War Reconstruction, the KKK, the Black Codes - Jim Crow Laws, the denial of voting rights for women, and for subsequently projecting such inhumanity on the very party that played a vital role in defeating it all.

I think Robert Byrd would be the perfect Democrat to deliver the Democratic parties official apology, considering his past experiences. But then again it would be a tough choice.

If you are a Democrat, have you written to your Democrat Senator, Obama, or the DNC to demand that your party officially recognize and apologize for it’s crucial role in the suppression of civil rights?

For those of us who have been paying attention to the seemingly endless number of spears in Obama’s side (all rendered benign by our media and by many American citizens willing to digest their daily dose of Statist rhetoric) the fallowing revelation will not surprise.

Obama’s guilt by collaboration (not association) with Bill Ayers (Communist Anti-American domestic terrorist with the Weather Underground), may run even deeper than what those of us who are blinded by reality originally thought.

For those of you who have mentally de-clawed Obama’s anti-American goals and passions, this may cause your cognitive-dissidence to swell.

I recently stumbled upon a few websites that displayed Obama’s campaign logo (O logo) alongside Weather Underground (WU) logos for comparative purposes. Each website picked up on some striking similarities between the O logo and the 2 WU logos.

Zomblog displays the first issue of Osawatomie, a newspaper published by the Weather Underground in 1975. The paper’s content can be viewed on their site.

I Own the World shows a comparison of the WU Weather Eye Logo and the O logo.

Upon viewing the comparisons, I immediately noticed something that even these great websites have not picked up on. I saw the O logo, in it’s entirety, as a simple and precise borrowing of the two WU logos.

I decided to do a little research on the creation of the O logo. Obviously, Sol Sender, the lead creator of the O logo, does not mention the WU logos as inspiration. But, I found what was the O logo before it’s final subtle tweak.

This fallowing image of the campaign logo brought my vision of the borrowing of the 2 WU logos too clear to sit on.

Here is Sol Sender in his own words:

Originally the stripes were kind of symmetrically expressed across the horizon, and as we went into final refinements we felt that giving it a little bit more dimension, a little bit more motion, ways to enter into it a little bit more for the viewer was a better way to go.

Only 20 minutes after I began to re-create the O logo using ONLY the 2 WU logos, this was the result along side the pre-dimension O logo.

It was too easy:

FIRST - I brought the top portion of the rainbow like WU logo to the middle of the circular WU logo.

SECOND - I cut out a circle along the circular WU logo parameters.

That was it.

I am not saying this is incontrovertible proof that Obama used the WU logos to create his O logo.

I am saying that this apparent link is extraordinary and should be looked into further, if possible.

If, in fact, the O logo was born out of the 2 WU logos, it would confirm that Obama is the true believer – the radical that I and many others know he is. It would mean that Obama felt he needed a symbol of radicalism (Marxism essentially) for him to privately identify with, while the masses see a crop-field (more like a Mao rice field) under a rising sun inside an O.

Obviously, there are countless symbols, logos, branding styles, and creative possibilities detached from WU symbolism which Obama could have drawn from - if he wanted to. There were countless possibilities for logos which would have been just as effective from a marketing standpoint. And it’s not as if the WU logos are particularly inspirational pieces of design.

If you think there is nothing significant about this apparent connection between the O logo and the WU logos, please take only 20 minutes of your time to re-create the O logo from any other single organization’s branding, in just two simple steps resulting in such a precise likeness.

As we conservatives thrive on having our theories challenged, (No - the debate is not over) I’m curious to see if someone can do it.

The White House put a gag order out after Humana Insurance Co. sent mailings to it’s insured warning them that new health-care legislation could cut their Medi-Care benefits.

It appears that Max Baucus (D-MO), Finance Committee Chairman, urged the White House to implement the gag order. This is the same Max Baucus who is trying to push through the health-don't-care bill. And what is his argument?

It is wholly unacceptable for insurance companies to mislead seniors regarding any subject. False claims in the Humana letter to beneficiaries include the threat of seniors losing benefits in the Medicare Advantage program. In fact, the America’s Health Future Act does not include cuts to Medicare benefits.

Really? What part of the 1st Amendment states that the government can infringe upon misleading political speech? If the government has the authority to stifle political speech which it deems misleading, then what is the purpose of the 1st Amendment Sen. Baucus?

The federal Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) stated:

We are concerned that the materials Humana sent to our beneficiaries may violate Medicare rules by appearing to contain Medicare Advantage and prescription drug benefit information, which must be submitted to CMS for review.

Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY) had a few words to say on the matter.

CNSNews.com reported that the letters have disclaimers that state:

Neither the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services nor the Medicare program has reviewed these materials for accuracy or misrepresentation.

CNSNews.com claims that the self addressed return envelopes were addressed to Humana’s corporate office in Kentucky, not to CMS in Washington, D.C.

CNSNews.com also states that the letter bears Humana’s corporate logo and was signed by Humana’s chief medical officer.

In case you haven’t been duly informed by our MSM, Douglas Elmendorf, director of the non-partisan Congressional Budget Office (CBO), backed Humana’s claim during testimony before Sen. Baucus' own Senate Finance Committee:

The effect of the original chairman’s mark on Medicare Advantage enrollment in 2019, would be a reduction of roughly 2.7 million people or 20 percent of the enrollment - The competitive bidding process would reduce the extra benefits that would be made available to beneficiaries through Medicare Advantage plans.

Elmendorf added:

The additional benefits would be smaller: $42 in additional benefits per month in 2019, and it’s a little less than half of what we would project under current law.
Take a look at Sen. Baucus’ (D-MO) attempt at silencing Sen. Jon Kyl (R-AZ) on the floor of congress.

How come the Left hasn't accused Douglas Elmendorf, director of the CBO, of being a racist...yet? I mean come on, he's a white guy...in a suit...with budget numbers that differ from Obama's...and Obama is half black. Obviously he's a gigantic racist. And last week, Sen John Kerry (D-MA) disagreed with a Republican proposal to have the would be health-careless bill put on-line for a 72 hour public viewing. Kerry stated:

This is fundamentally a delay tactic. I mean, let's be honest about it. The legislative language, everybody knows, is relatively arcane, legalistic, and most people don't read the legislative language.

Hm...is a fundamental delay tactic worse then a regular delay tactic?

So what are you worried about Sen.Kerry; a 3 day delay?

If Sen. Kerry’s comment isn’t incriminating enough for those of you who don’t know when you’re being conned, here’s what Obama said during his speech at the University of Maryland to an audience of college students on September 18th:

Health care is about more than the details of a policy. It’s about what kind of country you want to be. Young people, it's about what kind of country you want to be.

Officer Wesley Cheeks Jr. (a Fairfax County Public School Security Officer in Reston, VA) threatened to arrest an Anti-Obama health-care protester for holding up a sign amidst numerous other sign carrying protesters; for and against Obama’s health-care rationing plan. This incident was caught on video outside of Jim Moran’s (D-VA) town hall meeting at South Lakes High School on August 25th 2009.

This protester’s sign read Organizing for National Socialist Health Care - The Final Solution, with an image of an Obama Joker. Mr. Cheeks told the protester:

If I told you once to take it down and you put it back up, I can charge you with whatever I want to charge you with.

The protester replied This used to be America!

Officer Cheeks replied It ain't no more, OK?

What was Wesley Cheeks' explanation for why the protester’s sign could not be displayed like the rest?:

This has got a picture on it. That don't have a picture on it.

My guess is that Officer Cheeks will not be teaching English at South Lakes High School. Then again, they may have an affirmative-action policy.

How often do we hear the left decry freedom of speech and abuse of power? Has anybody on the left condemned Mr. Cheeks? Have you seen any news coverage on this abuse of authority?

I found one article about the incident by The Observer.

I’m sure CNN, MSNBC, CBS, ABC, the AP, The Washington Post, The NY Times, and the LA Times have been banging down Officer Cheeks door for answers to all of their burning questions. I bet they are all investigating the man’s criminal record, tax liabilities, security license status, and personal affairs like they did to Joe the Plumber…and like they do to anyone who challenges their leftist agenda.

I bet TIME and Newsweek are on the case; in-between Obama photo shoots.

Has the ACLU weighed in on this? How about Congressman Moran (D-VA)? Has Obama accused Officer Cheeks of acting stupidly yet? Has anybody in the MSM attempted to get a word out of Fred Ellis (director of safety and security for Fairfax County public schools) or Jim McClain (security coordinator)?

Well, there’s always Eric Holder’s In-justice Department to make sure justice is being served. Just ask the New Black Panther Party members who’s voter intimidation charges were inexplicably dropped by Holder (the same Eric Holder that accused America of being a nation of cowards in regards to race) even though the defendants failed to show up in court resulting in default judgments against them.

I couldn't locate a photo of Wesley Cheeks Jr. or any information about him. But, rest assure that Officer Wesley Cheeks would be the most infamous man in America right now had he went after a Pro-Obama protester (particularly a black Pro-Obama protester) in this manner.

Officer Cheeks Jr. would not need to be a white conservative to receive such would-be national scorn. In fact, recent history indicates he may be better off as a white conservative rather than a black one, as the left reserves it’s most lethal venom for black conservatives - Uncle Toms.

But, don’t forget how much the Left loves it’s black people…as long as they know their place. Just ask Clarence Thomas, Condoleezza Rice, Larry Elder, or any other black conservative.

Or, do you believe that Democrats were truly celebrating the historical moment of inaugurating the first, simply, black president on January 20th?

The unbroken silence from the left regarding this abuse of power is one in a long history of examples of the left’s contempt for the 1st Amendment and in their contempt for Constitutional due process.

Despite the left’s loud projections of commitment to the protection of these Constitutional rights (and others), they only use these rights as tools to be wielded when, and only when, the conservation of these rights are contextually aligned with a means to their political ends.

I received an email description of one of the most disturbing random acts of violence on a small scale that I’ve ever heard of; the dual kidnapping, rape, torture, murder, and discarding of Channon Christian and Chris Newsom (white couple) on January 6, 2007.

My guess is that the email is currently circulating due to the the 1st of 5 trials having just begun more than 2 years after the crimes took place. The 5 individuals charged with numerous counts are all black:



-Lemaricus Slim Davidson, age 25 (46 charges)
-Latalvis Rome Cobbins, age 24 (46 charges)
-George Detroit Thomas, age 24 (46 charges)
-Vanessa Coleman, age 18 (40 charges)
-Eric E Boyd, age 24 (accessory after the fact)

As you read about the savage event, take a moment to recall the MSM’s infatuation with the feigned Duke rape case.

By the way, Crystal Gail Magnum, the black stripper who tried to destroy the lives of 3 white young men, was not charged for obstruction or for filing a false police report, even though the Attorney General of North Carolina made the distinction that no crime was committed rather than simply dismissing the case for lack of evidence. Now the whore (literal sence of the word) has a book out, and the MSM wont touch her.

Also, as you read about this horrific event, imagine the nation-wide reaction if the races of the victims and perpetrators were reversed.

He was the 1,000th convict (white) to be executed since the death penalty was reinstated in 1976. He was put to death just days before the celebrated Tucci Williams (black) was.

Despite Mr. Boyd having repented for his double-murder and despite the numerical milestone his execution became, he only received 150 anti-death penalty protesters outside his North Carolina prison accompanied by faint media attention.

Tucci Williams, on the other hand, who went by his gang name till his last day, received global support which spanned from the Vatican, to Germany, to Hollywood, and on.

He received celebrity lased demonstrations outside his prison as Joan Baez sang Swing Low, Sweet Chariot.

He was glorified with a biographical movie starring the bigoted Jamie Foxx (one of his outspoken defenders). And the guy was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize.

Tucci Williams never confessed to his monstrous style killings, including the shooting of a Taiwanese women in the face at point blank range with a shot gun, and killing her parents as well; all for about $125. He reportedly joked about it, referring to the Taiwanese family as Buddha-heads.

Mr. Williams helped start up one of the most notorious street gangs known as the Crips. He reportedly threatened his jurors in court, and spent much time in solitary confinement for repeatedly assaulting prison guards.

It must have been the children’s books Tucci wrote in prison in an attempt to save his own ass, that made the difference. Ya, that’s it.
